Wardrobe

To ensure the best results, come prepared with clothing options. Begin by choosing colors that complement your complexion. Exclude anything shiny or heavily patterned, as simplicity tends to work well. Opt for well-fitting attire, and if uncertain, consider classics like denim, black turtlenecks, or neatly pressed plain dress shirts. My studio is equipped with a dressing room and a steamer for your convenience. Feel free to share images of your clothing options via text for personalized feedback. I'm here to make your session perfect!

Jewelry

For optimal results, keep jewelry to a minimum. Opt for studs over dangling earrings to avoid interference with your hair or distracting from your face. For headshots, consider forgoing necklaces altogether. If you do choose a necklace, opt for something without a pointed center. Structured pieces like pearls are preferable to traditional chains, but be cautious not to select anything excessively large or chunky. The goal is to enhance, not overpower, your overall look.

Necktie

If a tie is part of your daily attire, it's likely a good choice for your headshot. For everyone else, leaving the tie at home is generally fine. If you plan on having multiple shots, a well-tied necktie can be a nice accessory, but it might not be the ideal choice for your primary headshot. When opting for a tie, select something subtle without distracting patterns. Additionally, it's wise to bring a backup option just in case.

Make Up Artist

Doing your own makeup is often the best approach. Avoid false eyelashes, vibrant lip colors, or excessive contouring. Feel free to bring your makeup for touch-ups during the session, allowing you to assess the look on the computer screen. For achieving a flawless skin effect, we rely on Photoshop rather than relying on heavy makeup application. This ensures a natural and polished result.

Office Headshots

I thoroughly enjoy capturing moments in homes or offices, but this involves additional considerations. If you prefer a session outside the studio please email me for a quote. I look forward to making your on-location photoshoot memorable!

Retouching

The goal of retouching is to accentuate your natural beauty and capture you on your best day. This includes taming fly-away hairs, lightening wrinkles, and creating a smooth and even skin tone. Additionally, I address any bumps or gaps in clothing to ensure a polished look. All purchased images come with retouching to highlight your best features.

Outdoor Headshots

While outdoor headshots may seem tempting, they often face challenges like poor lighting, unruly hair, and distracting backgrounds. However, weather permitting, I'm open to stepping outside briefly for some shots. The majority of our creative work, though, will be expertly crafted in the studio. Please note that sessions won't be rescheduled due to weather-related reasons.

Whether your company mandates a specific style guide or you've come across a captivating concept in a magazine or online, I have the expertise to bring your vision to life. Don't hesitate to share your thoughts—send me a text or email with any ideas you'd like to use as inspiration, and together we'll create a personalized and remarkable session.

Rescheduling

Life is full of unexpected twists and during your session you should not feel rushed or preoccupied. To ensure your comfort, I maintain a 72-hour rescheduling policy. If you notify me three days in advance, there's no penalty or additional cost. In the event of less than 72 hours notice, a $100 rescheduling fee applies. Let's keep the process stress-free and convenient for you!

Backgrounds

My goal is to showcase you in the best style. I have a curated selection of hand painted backdrops that produce a variety of fantastic looks. Let's make sure you have the perfect style for every part of your personal brand.

Make Up

Did I mention make up? In the age of great editing software I can create an incredible image. The only way to ruin it is by over doing makeup. When you add a lot of base to your skin you clog the pores. And you create shine. Editing software cannot overcome this. However editing software can fix skin that has been left natural but might have some imperfections. So when considering how much makeup to put on, chose to tread lightly.
